Equipment Division
As part of its military programs, Air Précision received from the
French MoD RAQ 2
certification in 1982 and more recently the AQAP 120 certification.
As a manufacturer of civil aerospace
equipment, Air Précision received from
the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) the
Part 21 G approval and is
recognized as an approved supplier by the major aircraft manufacturers (Airbus,
Bombardier, Embraer, Eurocopter ).
The Quality Assurance Department is totally involved in all stages of the
design, development and manufacture and constantly seeks to maintain and improve quality by the application of an organisation based on the
ISO 9001 standard.
Maintenance Division
Since its establishment in 1946, Air Precision has worked in aircraft
equipment maintenance. Air Precision received the
JAR 145 approval in 1993 from the French DGAC and the
FAR 145 approval in 1995
from the F.A.A. (Federal Aviation Administration)
and the Part 145 approval in 2004 from the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency).
Having as its priority the optimization of the Turn Around Time (TAT) and the
service provided to customers, Air Precision acquired
top-of-the-range technical installations to enhance
the quality of its service with for instance a 10 000 class Clean Room of 200 m² (less
than 10 000 particles of 0.5 µm per cubic foot).
Quality Assurance Department Organisation
In order to comply with technical, organisational requirements and
international regulations, the Quality Assurance Department
includes inspection,
calibration and quality assurance functions as shown in the following
organisation chart :
Under the direct authority of the President, the Quality Assurance
Manager has functional links with all departments of the company. This
organisation allows him to have an objective view on the company’s performances
and to take any appropriate corrective actions.
Quality Policy
In the highly competitive industrial context, achieving and maintaining high
quality standards for our products and services is a critical requirement for our
success and remains a fundamental guideline for Air
Precision :
- meeting regulatory requirements,
- meeting customer requirements,
- increasing the level of quality,
- reducing functional costs for Air Precision and its customers.
